Scope
Relationship with the general terms
These special terms apply to domains searched, registered, transferred, renewed or managed through FastVPS. They supplement the general terms, privacy policy and renewal and refund terms. In a conflict, these special terms prevail only for domain-specific matters.
Order
Availability and contract formation
A search result or price quote does not reserve a domain. Availability is checked again immediately before the order is sent to the registrar. Registration is complete only when confirmed by the registrar or relevant registry and shown as active or in a valid activation process.
FastVPS may reject or manually review a premium domain, unusual transaction, unverified identity or request that conflicts with registry rules.
Third parties
Registrar, registry and data transfer
FastVPS acts as a reseller of registrar services. To fulfil an order, it transfers the necessary holder, technical and billing data to the selected registrar, relevant registry and, where required, dispute-resolution bodies. The active registrar is shown in the customer control panel.
The rules, policies and decisions of each registry or registrar are additional binding conditions. FastVPS cannot override a lawful rejection, reservation, suspension or revocation imposed by them.
Holder
Data accuracy and eligibility
The customer provides true, complete and current data and confirms a lawful right to use the requested name. The customer is responsible for extension-specific eligibility, trademarks and third-party rights. Inaccurate or unverifiable data may cause delay, suspension or loss of the domain.
Changes to email, telephone, address or legal name must be reported promptly. The holder must complete registrar verification messages in time.
Charges
Registration term and final price
The final term, net price, VAT and any premium fee are displayed before payment. .gr, .com.gr, .net.gr, .org.gr, .edu.gr and .ελ domains are generally offered for a two-year period under the available registry rules. Other extensions may permit terms from one to ten years.
Renewal pricing may differ from initial registration due to registry, registrar, currency or tax changes. The current price is displayed before every binding payment.
Fulfilment
Payment, registration and failure
Payment alone is not registration confirmation. If the domain becomes unavailable before the registrar order is submitted, FastVPS will not substitute another name without consent and will initiate a refund of the relevant amount or account credit, subject to the customer's choice and mandatory rights.
A temporary technical error may place the order into a safe retry. Each operation is idempotent so the same payment cannot cause duplicate registration or charging.
Transfer
Authorization code and transfer
A transfer requires a valid authorization code, domain eligibility and approval where applicable. The customer keeps the holder email accessible and removes any registrar lock in time. Starting a transfer does not guarantee completion if the previous registrar, registry or holder rejects it.
An authorization code is displayed only after fresh password and second-factor verification where enabled, and is never sent to an unverified address.
Technical management
Nameservers, DNS and DNSSEC
Default registration uses ns1.fastvps.gr and ns2.fastvps.gr. Before the registrar order is sent, the authoritative zone must exist and answer through both nameservers. The customer may later choose valid external nameservers through the control panel.
DNS changes require propagation time and may be affected by third-party caches. DNSSEC is enabled only through a separately confirmed DS/key rollover process. Incorrect nameservers or DS records can make the domain unreachable.
Lifecycle
Renewal, expiry and recovery
Automatic renewal is enabled only by express choice and an available valid payment method. FastVPS sends reasonable notices, but the holder remains responsible for current contact details and timely payment.
After expiry, grace, redemption or quarantine periods may apply with extra fees, or recovery may be unavailable. If renewal is not completed in time, the domain may be suspended, deleted and made available to another party.
Rights
Cancellation, refunds and withdrawal
Before submission to the registrar, cancellation is assessed against the current order state. After successful registration, renewal or transfer, registry and registrar fees are normally non-recoverable and the domain is a personalised service in the holder's name. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Where immediate performance is requested before a statutory withdrawal period expires, checkout obtains separate express consent and notice of the consequences to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Support
Disputes, abuse and contact
A domain may be placed on hold, locked, suspended or subjected to dispute proceedings under law, a lawful order or registry rules. The customer cooperates with verification, abuse and dispute requests.
For registration issues, open a ticket in the control panel or email sales@fastvps.gr, quoting the domain and order number without sending passwords or authorization codes by ordinary email.
