We measure before making footprint claims.

We monitor the instantaneous power draw of the physical servers and provide an account-level operational CO₂e estimate based on the resources of real services.

Actual power

Wattage is collected from the power meters of all measured physical servers.

Relevant workload

VM consumption unrelated to the FastVPS platform is removed using CPU and storage weighting.

Proportional allocation

The remainder is allocated per account according to the reserved resources of active services.

Renewable contribution is estimated from a cached 48-hour forecast: up to 30% solar and up to 30% wind.
